Inkhel ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Inkhel mobile app (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

Information We Collect

When you sign in to Inkhel using Google Sign-In we collect the information necessary to create and manage your account, including:

• Name / Username: the display name from your Google profile or a name you provide.
• Email address: required for sign-in and account identification.
• Phone number: optional — only collected if you choose to provide it.

We do not collect or store your Google password. Authentication is handled securely by Google Sign-In.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Personalize your news feed and in-app experience.
• Send important account-related messages (e.g., service announcements).
• Improve and analyze the App to provide better features and performance.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We value your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or phone number with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We may disclose personal information only in limited circumstances, for example:

• When required by law or to comply with a legal process.
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
• With service providers who perform services on our behalf and who are bound by confidentiality obligations (only to the extent necessary to provide those services).

Aside from the limited circumstances above, your email address and phone number are not shared with other users or third parties.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes, or as required by law. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data from live systems and backups within a reasonable timeframe.

Security

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

• Phone number: You may choose not to provide a phone number — it is optional.
• Account deletion: You can request deletion of your Inkhel account and associated personal data by contacting us (see contact details below). We will process the deletion request and remove your data from active systems within a reasonable timeframe.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in through Google, the information shared with Inkhel is subject to Google's privacy policies in addition to this Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing Google's privacy policy for details on how they handle your account information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy in the App and update the "Effective Date" above.
